The College of Science at Texas A&M University offers Advanced Placement® (AP) science and math teachers several one-week Institutes led by experienced AP consultants and Texas A&M faculty. These Institutes in chemistry, mathematics, biology, physics and statistics bring teachers up to date in their subjects and introduce them to new ways to present the material in the classroom.

Our training gives attending teachers an opportunity to share experiences with colleagues who come from classrooms all over Texas.

The sessions have earned enthusiastic reviews. Teachers say they return to their schools motivated and prepared to challenge their students in new ways.
