"My first semester at ATM, it allowed me to go into A&M Consolidated High School once a week through TEFB 201 to observe andlearn techniques from some very good teachers. I loved it!"

"The aggieTEACH program is a proram that allows students who are interested in math or science to get a feel for what it is like to be a teacher early on in their college career. Through observation in their first semster at A&M they quickly learn whether or not teaching is something that appeals to them. After your freshman year, the program continues to guide students through their education to ensure that they will have hte knowledge and classes that allow them to make a great teacher!

"TEFB 201 helped me realize how much I wanted to be a teacher. I was getting my certification more as a back up. After going through that class and some of my other education classes, I realized I had a passion for teaching and decided to make it my career. I also know a few friends who took TEFB 201 and realized they didn't want to be teachers. I think this is also important becuase they realized their freshman year while they still had a lot of options."

"I had an interview with Madison High School in San Antonio and they literally chased me out into the parking lot to offer me a job after the interview. It was my top choice of where I wanted to be and I am so excited. I'm going to be teaching Biology, and I'm pretty sure I may be in a Co-Teach classroom. It is going to be amazing, Madison is where I did my student teaching so I know all of the faculty and love them. Also, to top things off my Biology teacher from high school works there now too. Madison has just built a new science building, and there's going to be a $1800 bonus this year from the district. I just wanted to let you know and thank you again for getting me involved in the aggieTEACH Program and helping me through all these years. I have my dream job now, and I can't wait until school starts."
